
Reading for Wellbeing Group
This is a five-week reading and discussion group for those who enjoy reading and wish to explore readings focused on wellbeing concepts in a small group. It is suitable for people who are okay with listening/talking and being seen within a small, confidential space.
Reading material will be shared before the group starts and used each week to support discussions on some wellbeing topics. Topics explored will include living with anxious thoughts and practicing self-compassion. Reading materials will include poems and extracts from books alongside some reading questions and prompts to help get discussion started.
The group will be facilitated by a volunteer who lives with anxiety and has found relief in reading for her own wellbeing.
