It can be impossible to find the words to describe what happens to us when we are grieving. We each experience grief in our own unique way, there is no right or wrong.
After someone close to us dies, individuals and families do not move through the stages of grief in a linear, predictable way. Feelings like sadness, anger, confusion and numbness are natural and to be expected. The process of grieving can sometimes feel like moving through treacle in concrete boots.
We offer a free, seven-week bereavement course. It provides a safe and confidential space for connecting with other people who have lost a loved one.
Each course is supported by trained facilitators and visiting speakers.
