Bereavement Support Course

It can be impossible to find the words to describe what happens to us when we are grieving. We each experience grief in our own unique way; there is no right or wrong.

After someone close to us dies, individuals and families do not move through the stages of grief in a linear, predictable way. Feelings like sadness, anger, confusion and numbness are natural and to be expected.

The process of grieving can sometimes feel like moving through treacle in concrete boots.

We offer a Bereavement Support course. Each course runs for six weeks, and each session begins with a cup of tea or coffee and lasts no more than 90 minutes.

The purpose of the course is to provide a safe place for people living with loss to explore, in the company of others, their understanding and experience of bereavement. All this is done in an informal and confidential setting. It is conversational in style.
