Why use a counselling service?

‘Vitality’ is the largest workplace survey carried out in the UK. It found that as a result of ill-health related absence and presenteeism in the workplace in 2019, the UK economy lost almost £92 billion.

Almost £68 billion of that was due to productivity loss due to employees who experienced poor mental wellbeing and unhealthy lifestyle choices.

The same survey also showed that there is a crucial need for organisations to readdress workplace mental wellbeing, as stress, depression and anxiety are costing the economy around £30 billion each year.

Supporting your employees with their mental health and providing employee counselling could save your organisation money by:

  • Improving employee well-being.
  • Increasing employee productivity and quality of work.
  • Reducing sickness absences.
  • Supporting line managers by freeing up management time.
  • Becoming a leader in employee health and well-being.

Getting it right for your employees

Employees are the backbone of any organisation and often when difficult circumstances arise for them, employers can find it challenging to know how to support mental health issues.

Our counselling service helps employees feel valued and supported which, in turn, can reduce the number of sick days, help increase productivity and create a happier and more engaged workforce.
